Outline of Industrial Waste

Industrial waste is controlled in accordance with the Waste Management And Public Cleaning Law.

1. General industrial waste

General industrial waste is classified into several groups, such as plastics, metals, electric wires, dry batteries, light bulbs and fluorescent tubes, glass, ceramics, office automation(OA) equipment, wood, and sludge.

Recycling of these wastes is under consideration.

The contractors granted permission are commissioned to dispose of general industrial waste.

2. Experimental waste

Experimental waste includes waste acid, waste alkali, waste oil, experimental animals, sharp materials, and flammable materials.

Among the above, hazardous and toxic wastes are classified as specially controlled industrial waste to be handled under strict supervision, in accordance with the law.

The contractors granted permission are commissioned to dispose of experimental waste.
