Abstract

     APPEAL07 Workshop on Advanced Physics with Photons, Electrons And Leptons will be held in Feb. 19-21, 2007 at CAST/SPring-8. It aims at lively and open discussions on advanced physics frontiers and perspectives with low-energy leptons and polarized photons, and on related subjects.
     Current key questions on lepton and quark nuclear physics are concerned with symmetries and conservation laws. Some of them can be studied by high sensitivity experiments of lepton flavor mixings with intense muons, lepton number non-conservation in neutrino-less double beta decays, and of photo-nuclear reactions with polarized GeV photons. Accordingly the workshop will help encourage the programs of the low-energy leptons and the LEPS photons.

1. Lepton flavor mixing 
     Muon electron conversion and PRISM
2. Double beta decays and neutrinos 
     Double beta spectroscopy and neutrino masses
3. Quark nuclear physics with polarized GeV photons 
     LEPS II Laser Electron Photons at SPring-8
4. Dark matter and neutralinos, and GeV-MeV Photon electron facilities
