Speaker : Claude Lecomte Language : ENGLISH Affiliation : CRM2, CNRS-Université de Lorraine Title : Spin resolved mapping of Magnetic Materials: a joint approach from Xray and polarized neutron diffraction Abstract: In the first part of the talk we shall describe our first results on the x-ray, neutron, and polarized neutron joint refinement applied to two paramagnetic crystals: a MnCu complex [2,3] and an azido copper dimer [4,5] for which the x-ray and polarized neutron diffraction data have been respectively collected at 10K in CRM2 Nancy and LLB Saclay. In the latter case we will comment the first spin resolved electron density maps and further applications to inorganic magnetic materials. The second part of the talk will be devoted to the application of an XPAD pixel detector for time-resolved single crystal diffraction both on lab and synchrotron sources [6].
