Overview of Research Group, Goals and Purposes:
The purpose of this group is some collaborations for the theoretical analyses of the experimental results from the synchrotron radiation of SPring-8 on various topics: the strongly correlated electron systems, topological phenomena, quantum liquid crystals, hypermaterials, superconductivity, magnetism, spin order, orbital order, quantum liquids, CMR etc. We will communicate with each other to advance various theoretical and numerical methods: the first-principle molecular dynamics, band calculation, quantum Monte Carlo simulation, density matrix renormalization group, numerical exact diagonalization, tensor network method, machine learning etc. We will also collaborate with many experimental groups.
@We will hold some workshops on large-scale simulations using some recently developed new supercomputers, like supercomputers in the Joint Usage/Research Centers and gFugakuh in RIKEN.
@In addition we will aim at the creation of some new priority research areas connecting several different communities.
