The activities in the fields of physics, chemistry, and earth science have resulted in many accomplishments. In order to satisfy the growing demands for research of structural materials science at SPring-8, the diffraction crystallography should be combined with spectroscopy and imaging as well as developed to the measurements of dynamics with the change of circumstances like temperature, pressure, and gas atmosphere. The activities are as follows:
The aim of the group is to perform pioneering work of structural materials science at SPring-8, to create technical bases for structural materials science, and to eliminate heterogeneity between different fields. |
