In this fiscal year 2012, "Young Scientist Award of SPRUC" which was being invited had sixteen candidates by the closing date.
SPRUC 2012 Young Scientist Award Review Committee had rigorous process for selecting two winners. As a result, two winners were selected on the field of materials science and life science in each.
This Prize was renamed to the "SPRUC 2012 Young Scientist Award" as the official name.
