Small-angle X-ray scattering
This equipment is designed for a small angle X-ray scattering(SAXS) instrument. The applications are mainly polymer and nano-composite materials (Joint-Research Project for Regional Intensive).
The main optics furnished in the experimental hutch are composed of a focusing mirror and slits. The sample stages and/or the detector are movable along a guide rail for optimizing the camera length up to about 6.0 m with respect to the SAXS resolution. To achieve higher resolution, a special configuration of long camera length (> 17 m) will be possible using both experimental hutches. Users can install their own equipments in this station. For the SAXS detector system, a 2-D camera system and an imaging plate area detector are furnished.
