ABSTRACT
This beamline is designed for the experiments by means of nuclear resonant scattering, resonant inelastic X-ray scattering, x-ray emission spectroscopy, and surface X-ray diffraction. Nuclear resonant scattering is available in the experimental hutch 1. High-precision and versatile goniometers on a vibration-proof table are installed for Mössbauer microspectroscopy and nuclear resonant inelastic scattering. The experimental hutch 2 is dedicated to resonant inelastic X-ray scattering and X-ray emission spectroscopy. Energy resolution of the spectrometer is 0.1-1 eV. The experimental hutch 3 is equipped with an X-ray diffractometer connected with a molecular-beam-epitaxy chamber. This instrument is designed for in situ studies on III-V group semiconductor surfaces and applied for (i) surface crystallography under molecular beam epitaxy conditions and (ii) studies on growth dynamics.
